Roy Gunter is a Partner at Mobility Ventures and also a Founding Partner of the Vernos Group. He is a successful innovator and entrepreneur, having helped to start and sell a number of companies including Qflicks (now Lovefilm) and JetCell Inc. (sold to Cisco Systems) the inventor of wireless offloading/femtocell.
Roy also has a solid record of starting and building multi-million dollar operations, across the mobile value chain, for global corporations in the U.S.A and Europe. He was a driving force in launching and guiding companies including Nokia Mobile Phones Data Division and Siemens Mobile Networks into leading providers in the U.S. He also helped to start and build Pacific Bell’s Mobile (now AT&T) into the dominant mobile operator in California & Nevada.
